Fuel filler neck to tank hose

Has anyone come up with a fix for the filler neck hose. IAP suggests carefully cutting another applications hose. I have a 76 Spider. The head of the OEM clamp wore a hole in my hose. Mine can't be the first so I figured someone here on the Forum has a slick fix. Thanks in advance for the help.

Gates makes one with a 90 elbow, part number 24717. You do need to trim it to length. Important to use fuel-rated hose here.
