I am going to look at a 2 liter block today (Saturday)
The guy says its a 2 liter carb'd engine, but i only am buying the block and crank
I have a 1.8 carb'd engine
So the question is:
When I am looking at this 2 liter block. How do I know its a 2 liter block? how do i compare it to a 1.8 liter block? Is there something so obvious that there is no way I am going to get screwed by buying another 1.8 block without knowing?

I think mine said 132 AS on the intake side and measure the height of your 1800 block, the 2L is a bit taller, bore is the same of course 84mm.

Re: Help... 2 liter ID question
There is a part number just above the oil block on the intake side, or it could be just right of the dipstick hole. If there is an alternator on it, you'll probably have to remove it to see. The numbers below are for 1995cc blocks.
