Sounds great, Mark! Riverside museum visit sounds fantastic, I've been wanting to get over there for years.
Looking forward to making my first So Cal event, PM or call if you need help with any planning, logistics, etc.

Cool! We need to check our schedules, but this sounds like fun. ...I'm just a little concerned about driving my newly-aquired 124 such a long distance(from Bakersfield). ...Eh, I'll bring a tool box, and get a AAA membership!

Mark, sounds like fun way to test out my rebuilt engine and new cams! Now the pressure in on you to have my car ready in time. No pressure... really.

This will be great! We'll have some new faces showing up. (I'd say something about the old faces, but it would only apply to Mark and me, and I don't want to offend us.)

Hey guys! I was wondering if we are still on for this shin-dig. I already took the day off of work just in case. I personally haven't even seen a 124 besides my own, so this'll be an awesome experience for me! Let me know guys!
Happy motoring,
Peter

there seems to be a small conflict with a drive scheduled for Sunday, May 16th on the west side, but I believe we can do both. I'll have details on the museum visit posted on Monday night

It was a fairly good turn out with a great bunch of guys (and a gal). At first it looked like only Fiat Spiders were going to be there today, but Eladio was waiting for us at the museum, so it was all Spiders and one Lancia.
Here's my son Steve and I hitting the road to head down this morning
This is the newest member of the SoCal gang, Peter and his girlfriend Geanna (Sp?) out of Bakersfied in Peter's 77. They beat me out by a few miles for traveling the farthest to get there. A really neat pair of people!
This is at the meet-n-greet at the In-N-Out
And lined up with owners at the museum. (Blame my son that we can't see Mark)
I forgot to take my camera into the museum, but others did and some good pics of some famous and interesting cars will be posted, I'm sure.
And Alvon: We missed you buddy!

Re: Save the Date in So Cal-May 15
Had a good time today, the Riverside museum has some NICE cars. We met at In-N_out. Met Lynn, formerly from the DC area, now in SoCal, with a fantastic, all original 82 spider with only 22K miles on it. Here is a shot of his car:
Cool Alfa, I'd take if it came in a spider version:
Looks like Ron want the Alfa too (that's Ron's son Steve next to him):
Peter's prize for coming all the way from Bakersfield, he got to sit in the Maserati - he had to buy $1.5 million of liability insurance first:
After the museum we went for a drive thru Yucaipa up to Oak Glen and down to Beaumont to get some twisty driving.
All my pics from today are in my Photobucket album:
