mipstien,
Check out this thread. http://www.fiatspider.com/f08/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=8895

topsonline and diamondmall are two big Ebay sellers that offer good qualitiy tops at pretty good prices. I bought a canvas top from diamondmall (Ebay). It looks great and I'm very pleased with the quality. We have other members who have purchased tops from topsonline with great results also.

thank's anyone tried to use silicon to seal in the glass triangle rear windows? i was thinking about doing that instead of buying all new rubber pieces because these parts don't move on the rear and would seal really well after you molded it correctly

Where, exactly, are you thinking of using silicone? It seems to me the window needs to be free from the window scraper and the top in order for the top to go down properly. Maybe I'm missing what you are saying.

glass window rear piece i have another thread that shows where its badly rusted through. as far as i can see its not a seal point its just metal to hold the window in place.

the part circled is where i am thinking to put silicon as a semi water stop. although i know its not goin to hold the window it still has enough metal to hold it in place so the silicon would just be a little extra reinforcement or possible jb weld type stuff.... at least its removable after the fact so if it doesn't work.

I used topsonline.com and got the canvas top. I am very pleased with it, the quality and fit were good. I would recommend them. Make sure you get cables.

I bought a Topsonline top one year ago and the quality is so good. Be carefully with the cables, one of them broke only few days after instaling.

Once instaled, the car is...Another car!!

Hare you have the full instalation review (spanish, but easy to translate with Google) including the original Fiat spares diagrams.

You may want to contact Jon Logan at Midwest 124. http://www.midwest124.com/

Jon parts out many later model cars and may have a good frame. All of mine are early models.
