i see all these tops online and also cs0 cs1 cs2 but i don't know what my range of car is that i can get a top?
i have a 1981 cs0. obviously the cs0 will fit but what are the differences in the others that keep them from fitting?

Re: top question
The shape of the front bow changed in mid 79, when Fiat went to the 2 litre engine and the designation for the Spider was also changed to Spider 2000. Check out this link and you'll see the difference:

Re: top question
On my 2000 my top bows up over the windsheild about 1/4". I though the previous owner put on the wrong top. I was missing the tension cable.
