Looks like a lot of work and detail went into that car. I like the looks but I think I prefer the original look better.

I agree, I wouldn't call that a cosmetic upgrade IMO. If you're going to put that much work/tech into a car put it into a car it fits in better.

I've seen this car in person...I've met the owner...He spent alot of money on the car (just $7000 on a custom dash)...but it does nothing for me. :| It looks awkward in fact... yet as the Romans say, "De gustibus non est dispudandum". :)

Yea, I saw it last year at Clemente's. No shortage of bling. Not my cuppa but the owner loves it so thats what is important.

Agreed, the bling looks awkward. Original and classic is the way to go, in my opinion.

You know, this car is kinda like a hot chick that went to Hollywood to become a star. Starts out beautifull but somehow lost integrity and went with what is perceved to be beautifull and got herself injected with sylicone and other crap untill she now looks like a bloated, blow fish. Like so many potential silver screen beauties, for me; the classic lines that made the Fiat Spider desirable, in this example, have been too distorted and re-drawn to a point that it has lost the very essence or spark that has captivated so many over the years and renders what resignating DNA it has - mute! IMHO anyway, I have to give it a thumbs down. :?

Although, I do like the upgraded brake system.

Well said, and agreed...

Though I could live with a set of silicone's on a woman. I'd rip that dash out as soon as I could, however! ;)

That car is a perfect example of "just because you can do it doesn't necessarily mean you should". It might look alright if the ground package and spoiler weren't so profound. And the dash, speaker if front of the steering wheel right in your face and it looks like the shifter would obstruct the gauges. Not my thing but Kudo's to the owner for putting so much care into it!!!

I feel sorry for that poor poor Fiat......Its a wonder it would even allow the owner to take it out of the garage. Look like a Pimp my Ride special.

I agree too. Just some modernizations dont look good on an old car. It would be like putting 55' fenders on a honda civic. Might as well do one of those cut the car in half and have a forward facing both direction cars. Hmmm Did i say that right?
