I am considering using Timbren rubber springs on my Fiat and was wondering if any one else has tried them? They are progressive rubber springs and would replace the rubber bumpers.

Timbren rubber springs
Re: Timbren rubber springs
I came across their booth at SEMA, they look like they would work very well on lowerd cars with limited travel.

Do you have an issue with your car bottoming out? These are nothing but overload / helper springs, but if you have a lowered car and want some extra rate at the end of travel, sould work ok.

I agree with Ted, they are overload springs. I doubt the Spider could compress them at all.

I talked with Ed at Timbren this morning, he was making up an order for the Smart Car when I called, they are having trouble with it bottoming out.
I guess if I used the springs for a Mac Truck my Fiat wouldn’t be able to compress them, but maybe I will use the ones for the weight of the car, they do make more than one spring.

I guess I did not find the ones you are looking at. The smallest ones I found were for a vehicle almost 3x heavier.
Good luck and keep us posted on how they work out.
