Probably not a bad price in Argentina, where used vehicles are taxed at 100%, and new cars at 150% plus, to protect the local industry. Does anyone have any specs on this car? Is the motor an 800cc derivative of the 850? Anybody in Europe ever seen this derivative?

Re: 1966 FIAT 800 Sport Coupe on Ebay
It was a version built for that market using old tooling from what looks like the 850 coupe. The nose, doors (without the window frame), windshield all look like Coupe parts. From the B pillar back it very different and gives more headroom. It looks like some of the various coach built variations of the 850 that were available in the late 60s and early 70s. I know I have picture of a similar car from an old Car magazine from around 1971 about an importer in England at the time, I will see if I can find them.
It may be a Moretti this four door is quite similar:
Nope, I found a similar Spider version of the same car here:

I also found some Utube vids of them as well
It is apparently a Fiat 800 coupe mod 67 or model 770 and peculiar to the Argentine market, its very similar to the Vignale 850 coupe.

Its a pretty little car in any case and likely exceedingly rare regardless of where you are.

Yup definitely Vignale based:

Fiat 800 Spider Vignale made in Argentina (In English)
Gato Salvaje 61 says:
The story of this model manufactured exclusively in Argentina beginning in the year 1966.
The Fiat 800 Spider Vignale is so far the only convertible manufactured on an industrial scale for a terminal in Argentina, which is positioned in an important place in the national classics.
Based on the body of the Italian Fiat 850 Vignale, its motor was 797cc, and had some improvements to the engine in relation to the model Fiat 600, which allowed him to achieve maximum speed of 120 km / h.
As for the ornamental details, the Fiat 800 Spider was gifted with a rearview mirror external element available only on luxury vehicles for the period, board sports similar wooden counter, being next to Fiat 1,500 coupe, the only vehicles around the automotive market in bringing national standard at the time.
Midfielder sporting black Bakelite with 3-ray drafts aluminum, mirror on the sun visor courtesy of the companion, to anchor seat belts and the courtesy lamp on the door, upholstery fabric in black torino and baguetas chrome on the door panels completed an excellent internal termination. The car had a hood made cloth operated manually.
The ornamentation of this model, like the 770 and 800 coupe was completed with a profusion of badges and chrome in those years was totally unusual for cars of that size making them undoubtedly the largest category of cars in its class , especially when compared with those in other terminals.
In particular on the Spider, we can say without a doubt
He was a senior vehicle, particularly
Mind convertible for his condition, only that
It could be accessed at that time, taking into
Account restrictions on imports.
The Fiat 800 coupe and Spider Vignale continued manufacture virtually unchanged, except for very small
Details style until 1970, the year that the series was finally discontinued.
Among the reasons why it pulled out of the market it can be mentioned that the high royalties Fiat Concord had to pay to the house Vignale, and the fact that the market did not accept Argentine replace the model 600, against which the 800 could not compete neither price nor in popularity.
By then it had already manufactured about 7300 units coupe, and 1201 units of Spider model.
For all that, is a pride for me today possess a Fiat 800 Spider Vignale, who apodamos Charly, and whose photos published in this group .-

Great info! Many thanks. It always amazes me how well this forum captures the collective knowledge of the FIAT fanatic family around the world. Always nice to learn more about the cars we love.
