Florida - FFO Auto Transport

Post by Europa »

Is anyone from Florida planning to attend FFO 2010? If so how are you planning to get your Spider to Asheville?

amsiegel mentioned that a few Fiat/Lancia owners from Orlando may be getting an auto transport to Asheville. Anyone interested?

Hey Europa,
The last couple years many of our Canadian brothers have brought their cars to FFO ona transport.Pretty cool to see 8 vintage Fiats on a big trailer.I talked with one guy who told me it was far cheaper for them than trying to get the cars there individually.Great idea.If you guys choose to drive or trailer the cars,kmac33 and elial are interested in meetin up in Atl.I will be going a day earlier.

Wish I could. My car is in about 300 pieces, soon to be 500.
I am planning to attend in 2011 and the car will be there in 2012, wherever that me be two years from now.

i have a 4 car hauler, here in central florida. i am considering going to ashville this summer for the ffo, havent been since fontana 2 times. if there is enough interest i might be willing to tow it and 3 others to ashville, cost would be splitting the fuel bill

Beek, I am interested! I reached out to Rich Wagner in Orlando as he's trying to arrange an auto transport to Asheville. You need 2 more Spiders to Asheville!

Ps. Thanks for the heads up Craig.

this should get us 3, as my spider will make the trip as well, so one more for a full load.

I'm here!! You got #4. I'm bringing the Scorpion. I was planning on trailering it up, but it looks like we'll be trailering the Alfa to the Centennial convention in Maryland in June. If I can save a trailering trip to Asheville, that would help. Alternately, I may even do the Auto Train to Washington with the Alfa. A couple Tampa Alfa members are doing that. I need to bring the SUV for the family and luggage for both trips and they are only separated by July 4th weekend.

I see my Italian car club email was posted wrong on this thread. It's Vagone@me.com Or please call me at 407-468-2796 for any FLU-Florida questions. I'll make a general post about contact info and Florida events.

Beek - How can I find you? I'm just down the road from Clermont....
