Email notification

I joined the forum a few days ago and immediately got my first email. It said I would get a confirmation email when my account was activated. I never got that email. I checked and was able to log in so I assume my account is active. I made my introductory post in the New Members forum and never got any emails about responses. I checked and there were responses. My email address is correct in my control panel (and I got the first) but I am not getting notifications. What do I have to do to get them?

the automatic notification email is hit or miss. To get email notification of posts you have to set that up on your profile page

I noticed mine was not working either.

I went into the User Control Panel -> Board Preferences -> Edit Posting Defaults -> and noticed that the flag for "Notify me upon replies by default:" was not set. I set it to Yes, clicked on Submit and notifications are working correctly.

Might want to check on your profile settings, I hope that helps.
