Put a nut over the hole

fill the nut up with weld, making sure you have attatched the stud to the nut... long wire to start i guess

Nut is filled, heat has suposedly helped break the stud away from the manifold threds.

Don't wait too long, should still be hot. work the nut back and forth carefully,a heavy amount of torque right off the bat can twist it off without the stud.

If we're lucky .....success

I'd think some penitrating fluid before hand would increase the chance of success, but I was told the material should be clean for the weld to stick properly.

Hope this helps
