HIGH RISE IDF MANIFOLD

Post by So Cal Mark »

We also have available a high rise IDF manifold for cars that have more hood clearance. The runners are longer and the carburetor flange sits 1" higher than the standard manifold. It features a 3" radius rather than a 2 1/2" radius on the standard manifold

Are you going for the gold Rey? I'm not ready to give up my flat hood just yet but if you're still running yours without one, this will be the ticket!

it will still fit under the hood, no need to cut holes ala Rey. In the plethora of aluminum intakes that we studied, this manifold matches the tallest of the cast aluminum manifolds. I'm installing it today on a car, I'll post some pics when the installation is complete

I was thinking of tin earrings for my wife for V day. Since they're rare they must be valuable, right?

Mark's got it right. Rey, if you let women dictate what's in, you'll never have the money to finish your cars...unless you can talk her into some pretty pistons or something

SUNNUVA.....!! :!:

I keep clicking on this thread thinking I'm gonna see pics of that hi-rise installed....

Don't get me wrong; Pope's Mom is a hottie.... (jus' teasin, Rey  )
But the guy's at work are starting to think I'm obsessed with her 'cuz I keep clickin' this thread!

And Rey; I hope you don't mind me drawing a parallel here, as you can certainly agree that she's better-lookin' than you are.... So you probaly get something similar to what I get when I'm seen with my wife: "Hey! Who's that ugly-guy with that Hot-chick?"
I'm no Boy-Racer..... but if I can't take every on-ramp at TWICE the posted limit.... I'm a total failure!
