What wheels are these?

Can anyone tell me what wheels these are? I understand that they could be Fiat-Roosevelt or American Racing Libre wheel. I understand that the former requires an unusual shank diameter lug bolt and center cap. Please correct me if I have my information wrong.

I ask because they are on an early 1980 (FI) Spider that I am looking at picking up for parts. Are they worth anything? I would sell them to offset my costs, if they have a decent value. Also, it would probably affect my offer for the car.

The wheels appear to be in excellent condition, requiring only a little polishing.

Also, regarding this car, it has a manufacture date of 12/79. It is definitely an original FI. Does this make sense? I thought they switched to FI later in 1980.

My car is manufacturedate 11/79 an CS0 and an fi... i think it is an very early californa fi.
Some CS2 are fi cars !

First off, I'm no expert on wheels, but here goes....I'll try to help.

As far as I know, there were several versions of those wheels. The set I have are marked P/N 3055 and have a center rib cast into the rear of the spokes and the air valve points outward. I think this is the newer style.

There is another version with the rib but the air valve is located where yours is (older style).

Judging by the width of the spoke where it joins the rim, I think you have the (I hate to say it) less desirable version. I think you'll find that wheel does not have the center rib on the rear of the spokes. This is the version that gives these wheels a bad reputation for cracking where the spoke meets the rim.

Whatever you do, try to keep the lugs with the wheels. These lugs seem to be very hard to find. This assumes all versions use the same unusual lugs.

And, I thought all versions for Fiat are 13" x 5", too narrow for 205 tires. I know there are wider versions (and 14") used on Datsuns, so it's possible there could have been a bigger Fiat wheel.

How are the seats in the FI?

Chris, the driver's seat has one split seam in the bottom cushion. The passenger's is good. The body seems to be rust free, but time will tell
