I ended up purchasing the stock rotors for my car. I have stainless steel brake lines. So now the question is:
what brake pads should I get? I can't seem to find Brembo ones. I see Mark is selling the green ones. I think they are just for the front. If I get them for the front. What do I use on the back? Need your opinions! and Happy New Year!!!!
Brake Pads
Re: Brake Pads
I do sell the EBC green for the front and they recommend stock pads in the rear if you use green in the front. EBC is making up yellow pads for us, and those will be available in both front and rear pads
Re: Brake Pads
What's the difference between the yellow and the green? How much for the yellow? and when will they be available?
Re: Brake Pads
The yellow are good enough to be used for a race pad as well as spirited street use. EBC recommends using yellow both front and rear if you step up to that level. I don't have a price from them yet, but they told me they'll be available soon. It's been useless to try and get updates from any companies for the last couple of weeks due to the holidays, but I'll be contacting them next week for more news
Re: Brake Pads
Well, I don't know what level I'm at. Do I measure that by my height , cars height on the rotisserie, or my spirit? I do know I have stainless steel lines which are awesome from Yourself. I have stock rotors and rebuilt calibers. I do have big feet if that helps.
Re: Brake Pads
the big heavy foot could be a problem with stock brakes! Upgraded pads won't fade like the stockers. EBC claims their yellow pads work well both hot and cold. Most race pads are poor choices for street use since they don't grip when cold
