Nice
I want those seats for my car. The trailer hitch needs some painting though.

what have you guys got against modifications? Cheeze! i see loads of fun and potential here.
seats are ready for recovering.
classic luggage rack included
classic Spider lines still evident
OEM steering wheel

so, he's gotten a little carried away with the engine bay ventilation! So what? add some flashing lights, and waa-laa! isn't that how the buick's started their vent ports?

the unpainted trailer hitch shows some rustic class and charm. i'd not rush to paint that!

give the guy a chance, maybe this is a reverse auction, and we are being asked to bid on how much he will pay us to take it.

Makes my running but needs a starter 77 look like I should have paid $10,000 for it!

You guys must like easy targets! Now if you really want a challenge, find the claimed "over $15 k spent on the restoration" hidden in this car? I can believe someone billed someone $15k!

Prospect #1 Makes me want to cry. They at least put a white sheet over a dead body. How about a tarp?

Prospect #2 Seller is a dilusional and a lier. I don't see a wood steering wheel. The dash wood looks stock, which we all know is laminate. The only "genuine wood" on the car is the shift knob. The lower door panels are new, but why did they not take care of the hole for the remote sideview mirror? The hood/trunk emblem is a "classy" touch. That is not a cloth top, I can spot a vinyl one when I see it. That center console looks like puke. Why the mismatched carpet colors, the car came with tan.

All the references to Caribou imports: Yes, you could spend 15K in Caribou parts, but I don't see a single Caribou part on the car, unless its the front seat covers.

My favorite is the "I'd rather be driving my fiat spider" bumper stickers on both front and rear bumpers. WTF you ARE driving your spider. I have that sticker on my mig welder, because If I'm using my welder to fix my car, then naturally I'd rather be driving my fiat spider than welding on it. That IAP bumper sticker is ment to go anywhere EXCEPT on a spider. Not to mention the "racing" sticker that completely blocks the rearview, that will be a fun gooie mess to remove.

Wow, First off, anyone who would put a trailor hitch on a spider thinks a trailor is it the Tajmahal. Definatly some red neck thinks his pile O crap is gold. Well I bet the rest of his treasures are little brown nuggets as well.

As for the 15K restoration, he got ripped off! BAM! Mother F@@k-AH! Stone Cold RIPPED OFF! I suppose this one has a removable trailor hitch. OHH WEE! High class all the way!

since Caribou never shipped parts that were paid for, it's easy to spend $15k and not have anything to show for it
