3rd Annual So Cal Turkey Trot-Driving Directions

Post by So Cal Mark »

My suggestion is to print this in case you get separated from the group, or are late arriving;

From Starbucks in La Verne;

east on Foothill Bl
Left on Wheeler
Right on Baseline
Left on Mills
Right on Mt Baldy Rd
Left on Glendora Ridge Rd, this turn is before Mt Baldy Village
Continue straight at the junction of Glendora Mtn Rd and Glendora Ridge Rd
Left on Sierra Madre
Right on Valley Center
Left on Foothill Bl
Right on Lone Hill
continue south to IN-N-OUT on the right side

Correction:

... at the junction of Glendora Mtn Rd and Glendora Ridge Rd
Right on Sierra Madre
Left on Vermont (just after the stop sign at Glendora Blvd)
Stop at 432 N Vermont and buy parts from Steve
Proceed on down Vermont to Foothill Bl.

Left on Foothill Bl
Right on Lone Hill
continue south to IN-N-OUT on the right side

Seriously though. If anyone thinks they'd like to stop by and do a little 'Pick-Your-Part' shopping either before or after In-N-Out, let me know. I'd like to join the group for lunch, so if anyone is going to stop by, I want to plan for before or after.

I thought it was a done deal that we would all line your street with Fiats at some point in the outing. ?

I'd like to get an idea of whether or not folks are really planning to come by on Sunday after the drive. If so, I'll definitely be here, but if not - my wife wants to haul me and the boys down to Disneyland.

Thanks,

I'd like to drop by either before or after the drive, whichever works out best for you.

Aren't we all stopping in on the way to In-N-Out? Maybe we should have a vote. I vote yes.

I was planning to stop by either before or after In-N-Out, depending on what everyone else is doing. But if you want to go to Disneyland with the family, no biggie.

Hhmm... want to go to Disneyland? :?

If it works for everyone - let's say you guys come by the house at the end of the drive, before In-N-Out. Then after a little deal-making, I'll join the group for lunch.

We have passes and can go to Mickey's house anytime. I'll take the boys out of school one day next week - it'll be less crowded then anyway - and, while I do tend to be a rule follower most of the time, I love that my boys will look back on the days they got to skip school to go to Disneyland with their Dad. :D

See you Sunday!

I was thinking it would be best to go see the fiasco AFTER lunch. That way, people that want to get on the road aren't held up. Remember, there will Alfas, Lancias etc that don't share any Spider parts

That works too. You guys give me a call when you get down the hill and I'll meet you at In-N-Out for lunch. Then anyone that wants to come by can just follow over to my place afterward. 626-224-8241

Thanks for putting this together. However, according to Starbucks.com there are 4 La Verne locations. Do you have the address of the one you plan on? Here are the ones I found;

1. Foothill & D Street, La Verne

La Verne, CA 917502910
United States

2. Target La Verne T-226

United States

3. Vons - La Verne #2832
1500 FOOTHILL BL.
LA VERNE, CA 91750
United States

4. Foothill & Wheeler- La Verne
1181 Foothill Boulevard
