Steering Wheel engraving and other stuff.
So this might seem like a really dumb question... but can anyone tell me what the engraved writing says on the stock steering wheel? It looks like Ferrari but I don't know. It's driving me crazy. In other news I've just completed changing the timing belt on my '81 spider. While down there I took a lot of good folks advice and did some other things also like replacing water pump, the cam shaft seals, crank shaft and auxiliary shaft seals, rehabbed the radiator and new hoses, new motor mounts and sway bar bushings. Thanks to So Cal Mark and others for the advice as to why I couldn't restart it. So now I have it back on the road.... but now I see all the other things I want to do. John

I recently had my steering wheel renovated and the 'engraving' is fully legible and looks even better after 27 years worth of PO 'detritus' (best not to use too much imagination thinking about possible bio-hazards!) has been picked out and the wheel repainted!
