mark do you know of anyone who makes a short throw shifter for our fiat

i'm thinking of taking the shifter apart and having it turned down a little

I'm not aware of anyone making a short throw shifter, but Abarth had one I believe. I'm sure those are at a premium. Just shortening the handle won't exactly make a short throw., it would be like holding the shifter in the middle rather than the top. You'd have to change the length from the pivot point to the shift rail to change the throw.

I had my Spider's shirter turned down a little and re-threaded. The later Spiders had the conical timber shift knob instead of the ball and this seemed to raise the height even further.
