Took out the protective coating on my front shock towers and found an area that is rusted out. Took out a screwdriver and began taking bad stuff out. They are in good shape but found a quarter size hole on the side. Put some converter on it and still thinking about the next move.
Not planning on replacing the towers until next year or so but would like to weld a patch or add some support to it.
Any photos available of different patches or ways/ideas to extend the life of a shock tower that is not terminal yet?
Also, I know about rust converters and POR15 but any new ideas to add strenght to it? Like covering the thing in JB Weld, welding washers....?
Thanks.
Shock Tower Support Patch. Any photos or crazy ideas?

Add strength don't add JB weld.
Weld in a patch, JB Weld will fill holes in a non structural way, especially on thin flexing structures.
