dot 3 vs dot 4

Can i use dot 4 brake fluid in the spider ? i went to the shop today and they didn't have dot 3 so i bought a bottle of dot 4 exept of the boiling temp is there any other difference

i used the search function and curly uses dot4 i believe , anyone else who has experience with this or should i return the bottle tomorrow and go and search for dot 3

any info would be appreciated

dot 4 has a higher boiling point than dot 3, but for all practial purposes is interchangeable.

stay away from the silicon based dot 5
