Which ones are more reliable?

I change the original stat when I bought my car just to avoid problems, to change it back because the new one broke.
27 years against 2.

i changed the stat when i bought my car 15 years ago, just because i thought it a wise idea at the time. the aftermarket has been functioning flawlessly (knock on wood) all that time, but i still kept the OEM stat.

since the car will be 30 this october, is it time to switch back again? hmm.. 15 on and 15 off..
