Need a part name and function

On top of your motor their are these things/sensors that need to connect to a wire of some sort. I believe 1 is for the water temp and the other is for - I don't know. Anyway, anyone know what they are for so I can locate them on the wiring diagram? Also, what is a gulp valve \ electrovalve (located on the ignition \ water temp \ ect wiring diagram between the fan motor and the altinator)? My motor only has the sensors screwed into the top of the head and no wires hanging around even sudgesting that they might be the culprets.

Wires:
green/white, is the Water temp sending unit
gray/black, is the Engine ovwerheat warning switch

Katsi; that ain't nothing, you can go to Kinkos and have them go to the websight and blow them up as large as you want. Brad has given permission for us to copy the diagrams for personal use. I had a set blown up to 11X17, I can almost hang it on the garage wall and read it from the car!
