Tops online?

Post by Paingrin »

Has anyone ordered a top or any other products from topsonline.com? Their prices are much lower than any other company I've seen and you know what they say... if somethings too good to be true, it usually is. Any comments would be appreciated.

Yes. And their product was excellent

I have purchased a number of tops over the years and installed them myself. I bought my last top from topsonline and am of the opinion it was well made.

FWIW, there is a somewhat popular American company that manufacture's tops that I have found to be cheap and poorly made. In fact, their tops are so bad I would not install one if you gave one to me. Contact me an e-mail and I'll tell you which company that is.

I ordered from topsonline. I ordered a radio console and lower console at prices too good to be true, I even emailed the guy and asked directly are these covers or replacements. He said they were full replacements, they weren't.

He orders from a maker and never saw these pieces, only knows what the maker told him.

However with that said, I don't know about tops from him and he did refund all my money including shipping cost.

I bought a top from them for my '78 spider, in black vinyl. It looks nice, but is a little bit too small. Even after adjusting my frame in every direction possible, it's still so tight that it's coming unglued at the seams. I've installed 2 other tops before, and this one is too tight.
