Painted dash panels

Post by amsiegel »

The panels where like this when I got the car. The PO painted them silver with a light metallic flake. I kinda like it but I also like the wood look.

Check out the michigan short shifter. Thanks again Mbouse

I like the look of that dash.Sometimes, something a little different makes the car stand out in the crowd.

Ha ha ha

I thought that is the way the clocks came from the factory Fogged over and not working. I have to keep something looking original in the car. Someday i wll replace it.

does the clock work? if so, an inexpensive flashlight can be had to give up its "crystal" for the clock.

last i checked, both Bruces Parts Bin and Midwest 124 sold used gauges, including clocks for next to nothing. Maybe a "new" functioning clock would be really cool.

I thought the po painted the clock to prove he's not a slave to time :D You know, the attitude that says "I don't care what time it is, I'll be there when I feel like it"

The broke clock helps.

"Sorry I am late honey I was driving around with roof down having fun and lost track of time. When I looked at the clock it was only 3:15. "

Also my car is so fast the speedometer says I am going 8MPH even when I am parked

My car might look OK but oh boy does it have some problems.

Buy a flashlight with the proper size lens and use it to replace your cloudy one!
