Seat removal for carpet

Post by vinnypew »

I can't get the drivers seat out. I can see the screws at the rear of the seat but can't get the seat back far enough to get to the front screws. Is there a trick to this?

Your seat might be hung up, try cleaning & lubing the seat rails. It should go back far enough.

There are bumps in the tracks so the seat won't go back.

Got it. I don't know how it was done but a stopper was put on and once I grinded off the bumps in the rails the seat went back far enough to get the front screws out.
