Weatherstrips and Rubber
Weatherstrips and Rubber
I am about to have my '78 1800 paint stripped, rust repaired and then repainted. In order to do the job right I was planning to replace all the weatherstrips and rubber body seals including the ones for the windshield as I am relplacing that as well. I am going through Bruce's Parts Bin Parts Catalog but I am not sure he is including all that I might need. Has anyone else gone down this road and able to give me a hand? I would like to post the list and then members could review and confirm that I have it all or add their comments. As well where is the best place to by this stuff. This is my first adventure is car restoration so I am a little nervous but excited. Any and all support, info or moral, would be appreciated.

I bought everything needed from IAP. This was before I knew about Vick's or the other vendors.

Bruce is a knowledgeable fella. If you have questions, give him a call to make sure you get everything you need. Good luck with your restoration! Mine took several years to finish but I think it was well worth it.
