Mechanic Near Hoboken NJ
Mechanic Near Hoboken NJ
Hey Guys - Does anyone in here know of a solid spider-smart mechanic in the Northern New Jersey / NYC area that you could recommend me to? I live in Hoboken NJ and need someone to just do some minor stuff (for now) to get me past inspection and quickly on the road (legally and environmentally friendlier). Thanks.

If So. Ozone Park, Queens isn't too far, there used to be a place called B&B Auto on Rockaway Blvd. (near Aquaduct). The owner was Enzo Bellissimo and knew his way around European cars (Italian especially). If Enzo is still in the business, he might be a good source. Also, you could technically get to and from there from via subway (PATH to Christopher, Chambers E-train to Canal A-train to Rockaway Blvd. Not pretty, but you could do it for less than $5).
I know all this because back in the early 90's I was going to college in Hoboken, drinking in Manhattan, living in Brooklyn, and getting my cars repaired in Queens.

Hello from a neighbor in NY.
I came across a friendly shop filled with (mostly) Italian classics.
The name is Evandro Tech. Motors, located at 10-01 45th avenue Long Island City.
Phone number is 718 389 0430.
The owner's name is Frencesco Teoli.
I'm still waiting to bring my car up, and this seems like the place I'm planning on using when I do so.
good luck!
Gabriel
