Spotted in Ottawa

Today I happened to see a Spider for sale on a small used car lot, so I have made inquiries. It is a 1980 Spider 2000 with 85,000 original kilometres. It was acquired by the current owner in payment of a debt but has sat in storage for the last ten years. It has the original cream paint over tan interior, which is near perfect. The paint shows a tiny bit of oxidation and has faded, but there is no rust perforation. The car has been thoroughly inspected by a garage, which rebuilt the brakes and checked everything else. It needs only one tie rod end to pass our mandatory safey inspection. It is being sold by the owner - not the used car lot - and he is asking $10,000 or best offer.
