Dave, you seem to have patience to spare. Can you send some to me?
I really appreciate the pictures of the ongoing project. Good work.

Nice work Dave. I need to do some of the same, but more on the front end than the rear. Keep up the good work.

Great job Dave!!!
Let me ask you. How do you get the lower panels of the rear fenders off? I have all the screws out of mine. It wont come off. It seems there is a screw going through from the inside of the panel to the inside of the wheel well. I can see the point of the tip. I don't want to bend the fender. Mine is in really good shape. I just want to clean up everything the first time while I have it apart.

Brady, the day mine came off there were 3 of us workin on it. I did not remove them. But it does seem helpfull to have the tubes removed for the rear bumper. Its held on with sheet metal screws. I can look closer this coming weekend... Thanks all!

Good looking job you've got going there, Dave.

Are you welding with the car's battery connected?

Hi Dave,
everything is off the back except the lower side fenders. I have all the screws out. Just behind the rear tire on the drivers side. I haven't looked at the passenger side yet. There seems to be a screw that goes from behind the fender to the inside of the wheel well. I don't know if that is actually holding the fender on. I'm getting the fender to move some. But where the area of that screw is, it doesn't want to budge.

Good work Dave, will it be ready when I pass by in May? Are you going to keep the "corn row" carpet?

OK, I hope to have it home from the paint booth in April. It will be re-assembled here at home ( all the work has been done at friends shop ), I still have to pull the dash, replace the blower motor, and set up the console. Ill paint the dash and console also. I plan on driving her by May. I have attended two Fiat functions without her, and do not plan on doin anymore of that! Yes, Denise, we will be there in June ( unless something bad happens ) and yes, I plan on finding a better carpet ( was rushed on that one ). And Brady, Ill look to see what I can tell you. Bernie, youre correct, Im bad! Thanks for the kind comments and support. Its almost completly in primer, ready for block sanding, and more primer. We will paint the inner parts, then assemble the doors, hood and deck before heading for the paint booth. This April will mark 3 complete years of ownership.
