As I am converting from Auto to 5 speed I wonder if anyone knows if the auto startermotor will fit the 5 speed. In some vehicles shims or spacers are needed.

If you have the 5 speed trans bellhousing and the starter motor you should be able to determine if it will fit.

Fiat doesn't list a different starter for the automatic, so it should work just fine
