What is the best way to restore the rubber gasket around the taillights? Or, is there a place to buy replacements for a '71?

can't answer the specifics about a '71 Spider gasket, but when i restored the Spitwad, i cut my own gaskets from some Voltek foam

If you are referring to the gaskets between the housing and the body (left and right are different), I got mine from Bayless.

If you need a gasket between the lenses and the housing, you must make your own. I have some extra foam from a sheet I purchased from McMaster; PM me if interested.

I am referring to the rubber between the body and the housing. I wll check to see if I have them reversed. They fit fine on the old housings but they were both cracked and may have been flexing.

Mine (shrinked, shrank, shrunk) with age. They can be a bear to reinstall, especially on the bottom of the light housing. If you happen to find a source, let me know. I could use a couple sets.
