Source for rods.

Looking for a good source for used, good condition rods. I have a spun bearing and want an extra to send to the repair shop. If not used what about aftermarket? Might as well upgrade if the price is right since I'll have the bottom end out anyway.

Sorry about that. Its the 1800cc. I found some replacements rods for the 2000 from Vicks but I dont know if they'd work on the 1756

2L rods are different than 1800 rods, if you want a perf rod you may have to use custom built rods

The 1800 rods are fine they can handle over 8000 RPM just use the stock

Its just a resto buildup so I'm just looking for a source for used rods in case the one thats knocking now is bent or twisted to the point I can't reuse it. I can't seem to find stock rods anywhere for the 1800.

Well I'm pulling the motor either tomorrow or Saturday and taking a trip to the shop some time next week for a crank grind, new bearings and a resize on the rods. I'd like to have 1 or 2 or a whole other set just in case theres more than one that needs replacing. If you know of any email me at tib_003@yahoo.com and we can discuss payment and shipping.
