Ok,I know I will feel dumb after asking this but there it goes.. What's the red light on the tachometer mean when it goes on? Thanks

It's the battery charge light.

which spider are you referring to?

i see two completely different spiders in your signature, and the answer to your question depends on the tachometer you are referring to.

in the case of the two litre, there are two red lights. one to indicate a problem with your charging system, and the other to indicate an issue with your oil pressure.

regardless, don't ignore the red light.

Its the 70, the funny part is it only started when i got a new batt. it only goes on when i first start the car and at at low RPMs thanks

it should illuminate with the key on, then turn off once the engine starts and is revved above 1200rpm
