thanks for all the positive feedback

, makes all the hours spent in the garage during the hottest part of the south florida summer worth while. i wish i could take all the credit but i'm not much of a wood worker. a friend of mine is a cabinet maker, he did all the wood work fpr me. i gave him all the original pieces plus the Momo shift knob as the sample for the stain. he installed 1/8" cherry veneer on all the pieces, including the center console which took a delicate touch for the veneer not to crack while cutting out all the holes. the door panels were actually my wifes idea, i cut out the old carpet piece for a template and he created those out of two 1/4" pieces he had laying around.
blast, i dont have the name of the stain at this time but ill get it for you. i can tell you it took two coats of the stain to match the knob and a coat of clear.
