That's the type I used on my tie-rods but I couldn't get it to work on my ball joints.

Cool. They say not usable on my Spider on IAP website (It knows I have a 1980 Spider 2000). I was curious.

Yeah, but I wasn't going to make a living popping tierod ends off of spiders with the tool. Heck, I've got an American made pickle fork for that.
