Hello all.
Curious to know what good/bad experiences anyone has with converting the headlights to LED. I know there are a ton of options out there. Thanks in advance.

Re: LED Headlight Conversion
I installed a pair of these on my '79. (Grote 90941-5) They work very well and provide a much brighter and clearer light than the old halogens. It was a simple unplug-the-old plug-in-the new operation. That is my spider in the review for these lights on Advance Auto's website. The LED bulb is on the left and the older halogen is on the right. The only problem I had was with the old alternator causing flickering. I put a scope on the alternator and was surprised that the light output was as good as it was. I just replaced it with a 65 amp unit from Rock Auto and the flickering stopped. With the much quicker response of LED bulbs when compared to incandescent, you can see more flickering in the bulbs if the lights are on when the car starts. When I originally bought them Advance was cheaper than anyone else in the country. They are no longer the cheapest.
