Engine repair

Post by mik »

Looking for shop in AZ to work on 1969 124 Sports Spider. I know of IMM in Tempe. It would cost $500 round trip to have it towed. I could drive it back after work done, but would like to avoid major highways. I live in Peoria AZ North of the 101. Any help would be appreciated.

At one point I rented a U-Haul car carrier to get some work done a few hours from the house. You would only need a vehicle with about 4500 or more pounds of towing capacity as the U haul is about 2200 pounds and the Spider is about 2300 pounds. Should be about $100 for the day and you can drive it back. Not aware of any shops in that area and defer to others.
Buon giro a tutti! - enjoy the ride!
