Injection Combo Relay
Hey all. First, love this forum and all the spider love! I am in need of a new combo relay for my 82. Ran through all the recommended diagnostics which pointed me there. Cleaned up and re-soldered the current relay which ran briefly and then died again. Normally I would just order one and be done but, as you all know, there are none to be found anywhere on the interwebs and no hope in site for the supply chain. So...I have found an awesome diagram to build your own from a alpha site for the same model relay. Issue is, I have no walk through for the wiring. Can anyone point me to a diagram with color coding for the relay set? I have about half mapped reading various posts but no idea on the injection/ecu side on pin location etc. Any direction would be greatly appreciated. FYI electronics are not my thing so be gentle and dumb it down for me

Re: Injection Combo Relay
I believe the Bosch part number for this relay is 0332514121 and should be available from many sources. Yes its a bit pricey but available.
Having said that I am also comfortable saying I have never found one to be defective. Almost always is a wire terminal connecting to the relay that is loose and intermittent. Hold the relay firmly in one hand and wiggle each wire individually at the relay. Often one or more of the connections will be found to be a problem. Especially the smaller terminals.
I purchased male pins I use to test the female terminals in the nylon connectors for tightness. Pushing the male pin into the socket pins one at atime usually one or two require little to no effort. These are bad sockets and should be replaced.

Re: Injection Combo Relay
I was wrong when I said the dual relay was available. You are correct many show the relay back ordered.
I think the part number 0332514121 is correct.
I would like to see the wire diagram you have for using 2 individual relays to replicate the dual relays operation.
