124 transmission
has anyone installed the hew 5 speed lada in a 124 spider and was it worth it? I read that the gear shift comes up through the floor different than stock. Can you add the fiat shift levers to the Lada transmission to put the shift lever in the corr3ect place?

I put in a Lada transmission in my 79 and it was no problem. Everything went back together and works fine. I don't recall having any placement issues putting it in.
