Spare Parts - What do you keep in your garage

Post by 73Spider »

After the fiasco that was finding a new lower radiator hose I ordered a spare to keep on hand. I then started thinking of what possible spare parts should I start accumulating when searching for bargain parts.

What are the absolutely necessary spare parts that I should be looking to acquire a spare or two of?

All of Marks suggestions (above). PLUS 3 spare engines, 4 gearboxes, 2 radiators, a couple of rear ends .........

A dual relay, aux. air regulator, cold start valve... wait a minute. You have a '73.
Never mind.

I keep fuses, a couple of hoses, alternator belt, some relays and FI sensors. Really, you can get virtually any part from the Fiat suppliers in 3-5 days, so it isn't necessary to keep a bunch of parts lying around unless you have (or had) a parts car.
