Hello from Norway

I am a new member from Norway, I just bought a 1970 124 Spider here in decent and original condition. It was imported from the US in 2007, the PO thinks it came from Florida, but the absence of serious rust makes me doubt that. I plan to take it to Italy where we have a holiday home and do the necessary cosmetic and engine tune ups.
I am very grateful to be accepted in this forum, by far the best when it comes to technical discussions and good tips.

Will you drive or transport the car from Norway to Italy?

Thank you for your message Ralf. Yes, I do plan to drive the car from Norway to Italy, already in January if Covid permits. It is already registered on the world-wide site. Do you know if there is a US registry I can search since the car came from the US?
I cannot see an option to attach photos on this site?

I just recognized, that you asked for a US registry. The worldwide Spider Register actually counts 7334 Spider from the States, and no:
There's no other Register! As the Highlander always said: "There can be only one"

I searched for 1970 Spider in Florida: 2 BS (with 1400 cc) and 1 BS1 Spider:

Perhaps your car is already listed? Just tell me your VIN and I check up the offline database and my offline data sources..

Hello Ralf, many thanks for your response! My vin is 124BS0022267, so it is not the Florida one already in the register.There is a sticker saying that it was manufactured September 1969. Any information on where it may come from in the US is greatly appreciated. I tried the links to how to upload photos but did not get much wiser, it seems rather complicated to upload photos on this website?
