does anyone know what 1800 block with piston and crank weigh?
i want to ship it out to be rebuilt

This is a total guess on my part, based only on lifting these engines around by hand over the years:
1800 block, crankshaft, rods and pistons: 175 lbs
Add the oil pump, oil pan, crankshaft pulley, engine mount brackets, flywheel, etc: 200+ lbs
Properly crated and secured, and that might bring it to almost 250 lbs.
