Greetings from North Carolina

Hello all,
my name is Abel and this is actually the second time I introduce myself. The first one was years ago, but I still did not have a Spider. Although I have to admit that I was initially looking for a 124 sedan, that has proved nearly impossible, so I decided to go with the Spider. All I have to say is that I have not regretted that decision.
I just purchased a 1978 Sport from one of the members of this forum who in turn got it from somebody local in Virginia. It now resides in the beautiful Carrboro, NC and I would love to meet more Spider owners from the area.
The car is in need of some bodywork repairs and probably something else, but I hope to be able to do all the work myself.

Hi, yes that is my car. I bought it directly from the seller. It now lives in Carrboro, North Carolina
It is good to know more information about the history of the car.
Right now, I am taking things apart so will be able to provide more pictures, hopefully soon.

Since you are in charge of the registry, will you be know where to find (buy) the paint code for this car?

Hi Abel,
I think there were 2 green colors for model year 1978: Your car seems to be no. 312 green, like this here:



The other green is 874/F "verde", but a lighter green.
