So I've drained the rad and disconnected the hoses.
But there are these 2 steel fluid lines that go to the bottom of the radiator that I'm having trouble getting off. Maybe its something specific to the fact that I have an automatic transmission. Does anyone know what they are filled with? Just want to make sure fuel doesn't spray out at me when I screw them off.

@evreno Were you able to get them off without leaking too much Trans fluid?
I have the same issue you are all talking about. I plan to remove rad and have it flushed, replacing the ext Tstat and Temp switch as well.
