After years of thinking about it, months of actually looking, I finally got a '76 almost by accident. I mean, it wasn't even for sale. A friend left his number on a windshield knowing I was looking and long story short, it's now in my driveway. Original CA car with only one 2"x14" patch needed under the pedals (no surprise!) but the wiring will be a bit of a challenge. I've been surfing this site for quite some time and have compiled a vast collection of information thanks to all on here, learning your tricks, benefiting from your mistakes and reading all your stories only to be shared just for the purpose of keeping and getting as many of these machines on the road. For that, I just want to say thanks. I look forward to sharing my experience and learning only more and more. Now only if there could be more time in the day......

Welcome, and we'd be glad to help you walk through the process of fixing it up.

Welcome!
That hole might come in handy if you need to replace the starter or transmission even.
Only half joking.
