Hello all,
I am working on restoring a 1981 Fiat Spider that my dad bought brand new back in 1981. 32K original miles
I am having trouble finding a fuel one way check valve, the original part is clogged with gelatinous gas that sat in the lines for years in storage. I have checked with Vicks but they recommend a generic part, even then I can’t find a generic part. Does anyone have any ideas where to find it? Is it possible to remove the valve completely from the fuel system?
Thank you in advance!

Re: One-way Fuel Check Valve
other vendors might have them. I have cleaned them first with gasoline and then with carburetor cleaner. That seemed to work.
