Hey there folks! Just joined the forum here after purchasing my first fiat spider. It's a 1979, in pretty good condition, and I'm the second owner. I'm hoping to get it fixed up and running better than it has been in some time. I'm looking at an engine rebuild, some body work, all new paint, and likely a new interior. Hoping also to upgrade to fuel injection. In any case, I'm excited to get going on all this, though it is a blast to drive even now. Should be a grand time!

Are you planning on doing a Fiat injection, say from an 80-84 spider, or an after market injection.

I am looking at that option. Basically I want to make the car the best that it was intended to be, and I think the fuel injection is the way to go for that. I'm not sure when I'd be looking at that, because I'm thinking some new piston rings and bearings would do it some good, and I'm not sure when I'll be doing that. But around that time is when I'd be looking at the fuel injection system.
