Fuel pumps around $250.00 just for the part. Does anyone know of a good less exspensive one, that is proven to last?

try Autozone, they have a private label brand for under $100 and they seem to be okay

I believe the AutoZone Fuel pump Mark mentioned is an Airtex E2182

I bought mine in stock at Advance Auto Parts for $98.00. It is Bosch Part Number 69133. Don't know if the this is the same one used on Pinninfarina models or not though. Mine is an '82.
