Who makes the best fitting rocker panels?

Post by jeromegreenday »

Hey guys after countless hours welding the inner / intermediate / outer sills it's looking amazing and rust proofed to last a lifetime. I need some metal rocker panels. Price and shipping isn't a problem who makes the best fitting ones with the stud on as well if possible?

alfaspecialista in Germany?
Spiderpoint in Germany?
RiAuto.ch in switzerland?
Midwest Bayless?
AutoRicambi?
Mr Fiat?
Alfaparts.net?

Any info would be greatly appreciated

I can't speak to the best rocker panels, but I bought a pair off of Ebay about a year ago for $80 for both with free shipping. I was skeptical at first, but they arrived in a few days, are heavy gauge primer-ready steel (much thicker than the original), and fit fairly well. There was a bit of trimming required near the front wheel arch, and there is about a one inch gap in the rocker panel rolled lip below the rear wheel arch, but that could easily be fixed with a quick weld of some additional metal.

Maybe not the best, but if you're interested, I can look back and see who I bought it from. I do recall it was a company that sold rocker panels for a wide variety of cars.
