Distributorless ignition

Post by DaveMarcotte »

So, I installed a Computronix ignition on my 77 spider about 4 years ago. Last night it failed. Lost power and just as I limped to my house the top blew right of the engine component ALL DEAD.
Now I can't fine Computronix? No longer on Allison Automotive page and Google doesn't help. Does anyone know if they're still around? Is there a similar distributorless system out there?
Thanks,

A friend had one Computronix, Seems like the Owner retired? There is no product support available. If anything has changed on that front I dont know.

The owner actually died, and Mark has been trying to find someone to pick up the product, but no luck yet. The volume is just too small I think.

An alternative might be Megajolt. Its based off of Ford EDIS, which is absolutely bulletproof.

Mark has a new electronic ignition that looks pretty good.
